My friend and colleague, Kathy Schrier, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7th. This woman’s contribution to the welfare of minors in the entertainment industry cannot be over-stated. Even while running the Actors Work Program at the Actors Fund, she helped arrange the transfer and protection of unclaimed Coogan Funds. She loved her performers. She will be missed. A brief obit appeared in the New York Times. RIP, Kathy Schrier.
